Fairytale surroundings

The guesthouse is located in a semi-secluded area, in the territory of the Šumava National Park. We have no neighbors in the immediate vicinity, only the forest. You will fall asleep and wake up to the gurgling of the Studený potok stream. Just open the windows into the silence of the night and listen to the soothing sounds.

When was the last time you did only what you wanted to do? You can sleep in all morning, run through the woods or sit on the terrace with a fragrant coffee. In the spring, go on a trip around the area, in the summer, soak your feet in a forest stream, in the fall, relax with a book, and in the winter, put on your cross-country skis and go sledding with your children to the nearest hill. You can experience all of this at Mezi lesy.

How to reach us

Pension Mezi lesy is located in the village of Nové Hutě (No. 88), at the foot of the Zvěřín hill (1133 m above sea level). The easiest way from Prague by car is along the D4 (so-called Strakonická) via Vimperk.

The journey is about 150 km long and takes about 2 hours.

You can also get to Nové Hutí by public transport (the stop is nearby), but it is a bit more difficult. The direct connection from Prague only runs twice a day in the morning and at noon from the Na Knížecí bus station. Otherwise, it always involves a transfer. You can find your connection from another city here, for example.
